WELCOME TO SLOVAK PARADISE

Slovak Paradise National Park is one of the most beautiful natural areas in Slovakia. It offers up to 300 km of marked hiking trails, ranging from easy walks to challenging routes leading through canyons and gorges, featuring ladders, footholds, and stunning waterfalls for the most physically fit adventurers. One of the most famous trails is the highly popular Kyseľ Gorge, which can only be accessed with via ferrata equipment. Another unforgettable experience is rafting on the Hornád River. Cycling enthusiasts will also find plenty to enjoy, with marked cycling routes throughout the National Park.

THE TRAIL TO "THREE ROCKS"

One of our favorite routes in the past was a walk to a place known by locals as "Three rocks" ("Tri Skalky" in Slovak), after which we named our cottage. This spot brings back memories of carefree childhood days and weekends spent with our loved ones.

If you’re planning to go hiking, be sure to bring waterproof hiking boots, a raincoat, and insect repellent. Additionally, it’s wise to purchase a commercial mountain insurance in advance, which will cover costs related to unexpected events and injuries. More information here: HZS poistenie. Always remember that in the National Park, it is forbidden to move, camp, or bivouac outside of the marked hiking trails and designated areas. Passing through the ravines is allowed only upwards, i.e., against the flow of the stream. Majority of hiking trails, ravines, and cycling routes are open year-round.
